FREE Trick or Treat Halloween banner
This TRICK OR TREAT banner was created for someone in particular, but I thought I would offer it to anyone else that wanted it too!

Halloween Visiting Teaching Cards October 2013
I decided to make a business card size handout to give to our VT ladies. This is great to send in the mail, leave on a door, or with a plate of goodies to let them know you are available to call. I will probably have another set added that will also include email addresses. Hope this is helpful! Download it from Scribd here:
I am having trouble embedding the font. Here is the font so that you can download it:
You would simple click the above link, download it, add it to your fonts, and then you will see the same image as above on your computer.
Thanks!

Halloween (or playtime) Sword
I made this for Bubba's knight costume, but I was informed that it is not long enough to be a knight's sword. Shows just how much I know!
I used common household items, such as: a paper towel roll, aluminum foil, parts of a corrugated box, a Clinique Turnaround Concentrate box, a hot glue gun with, of course, glue sticks, and duct tape. In the process I first, forgot to take step by step pictures and second, used a combination of websites and ideas to fashion this sword. I will do my best to give credit where credit is due.

Mamie Sue's Oreo Eye-Balls
Alright, I'm going to go ahead and publicly admit this: My sisters are ALL much, much more creative than I am. I'm not jealous though. Nope, not one bit. Okay, okay, maybe a teensy weensy tiny smidgen. 😉 But that's it. Anyway, let me show you an example of Mamie's creativeness.
She had to come up with a few desserts for a Halloween party. What kind of a party doesn't have Oreo Balls? So she made those simply devilish desserts a Halloween twist.
I'll post step by step directions and pictures soon. Here are her Oreo Eye-Balls.

Halloween Costumes
Okay! Four days until the Trunk or Treat and we just figured out the kids costumes! Of course, the stores are sold out and it will take too long to order them, so I'm attempting to make them!! Let's see how that goes...
UPDATE: Bubba was dressed as Super Why and Sissie as Princess Presto!

I made all of his costume including his cape. Her costume we utilized a princess dress and the cape her Maw-maw made her. (Only because I ran short on time.) Daddy was a Whoopi Cushion and I was SUPER MOMMY - super mom, super leader, super tired. ;)
